Founder:

Charles H. Hyatt

(1924 – 1995)

In 1952, Charles Hyatt founded the firm in the Decatur Masonic Temple Building, just a stone’s throw from our present office on Clairemont Avenue. Over time, he built a thriving law practice and became known as one of the preeminent trial lawyers of his era. He was honored locally and nationally for his trial skills, and for his service to the bar and the community. One of the many plaques he received lauding his service bears this inscription: A true stalwart in the Law. Then, now, and forever.

Most of all, Charles Hyatt set our standard. A standard of diligence, fairness, professionalism, and decency when advocating for those whose lives have been struck by tragedy. We strive to meet that standard every day, for every client.
